Dolly dolly bo bolly

My daughter is the luckiest two year old I know.  Heck even as a ten year old girl...I never ever had a barbie doll house or any doll house for that matter. My mom did, however, find these 4 cardboard partitions with dollhouse scenery on them, and my dad did build a rough wooden dinner table for the barbies, and I never lacked for imagination and fun with them...

But seriously, my daughter has three doll houses, a horse stable, and a barbie dream house. All given to her by neighbors, or grandma or papa. So I guess, in a sense I am the lucky one here...but not when I have to figure out where to put everything!

u900 bunny

Is coming along nicely. I even made fingers on his hands. I think I will make a tutorial for making fingers because I couldn't really find anything that had to do with what I needed.

Here he is so far...

I'm so excited. I revamped his arms and lets from the pics I originally showed you. I learned a new technique for joining his arms called a thread joint...and am super duper excited about how he is coming along!!

Making one for my sonny boy...

True, he's only got a head a torso and one arm right now, but I am slowly but surely getting mister's doll....er....action figure finished. My son is really excited about having a "dolly" of his own....but we had to think fast and give him a cutesie name...so my son wouldn't be carrying his "dolly" all over the place. We named him "Buddy."

How cute is that hair?? I used Lion Brand Homespun and brushed the heck out of it with a boar hair brush...sooooo cute!
