Five-products I've just recently tried

YUMM. The kids loved, the hubby loved. I just served with our shredded beef tacos.
I'm afraid of the dentist. Haven't been for a while, so ya. I have an appointment and have been brushing with this like mad. I like it. Kind of reminds me of PearlWhite my parents used to buy.
Been doing a lot of work in the backyard...totally disrupting the ant colonies out there...so they keep ending up coming into our house through one various crack in the foundation or another...and I needed something to use inside the house. It does have a very strong minty/lemongrass scent, but it kills on contact.
Chick fil a milkshake? yum. kids loved their strawberry and vanilla, and i hearted my cookies and cream.
This is my MP3 player. I got it for Christmas, but just recently loaded it up and use it. I love it. I even think it is under $40.

So, how 'bout you? Try anything new or exciting recently?? Happy weekend!!

Potty Training Fool

That's me. The Toddlerwhisperer. Potty Training. Potty training two toddlers at the same time. Ages 2. and 3.
Were you wondering where I have been? Whelp. It starts with a B. and ends with an M. (yup I get the humor there) BathrooM..(BM=poop). Oh, it's only funny to me?? potty humor...goes so well with potty training.

I think I might be a little lucky. naptimes and nighttimes have been pretty much accident free. both babes pee within seconds of sitting on the potty, and thanks to the foam Lightening McQueen potty topper I bought a year ago at Target, well, we are even going on errands all over town and pottying wherever the need arises. And just today, my son is starting to tell me when his "body has to make peeps." (Little lady has been telling me off and on for a week.) So yippee. We are getting there. My wallet feels a teensy bit fatter too...diapers are expensive!

Super Awesome Tip of the Week: Coffee Ice cubes

I can't take credit for this idea, but I have seen the light and thought I would share. FREEZE your LEFTOVER coffee. Seriously. Bust out those old icecube trays. I have a bazillion plastic trays from when I made my own baby food...(seriously, anybody need some?) and we use a French Coffee Press (yummo richalishious coffee goodness comes from here) and we nearly always have some left over coffee.

We froze the leftovers, and now, anytime I want some rich, non-watered down iced coffee, I just plop in my coffee cubes into my coffee and VIOLA...Ice cold, bold, good to the last drop iced coffee goodness.

You're welcome.

I'm kind of the bomb when I boil eggs.

Okay, so I love boiled eggs, not just for Easter. I think I have it down to a bit of a science(See those creamy, yellow yolks...perfectly cooked with no funky blue ring??) so I thought I would share with you.
HOW TO BOIL EGGS
I place my eggs in cold water in a large pot.
Place the pot over high heat.
Now, this take a little bit of time, but WATCH your eggs until the moment you see the water just begin to boil. (you will notice tiny bubbles coming from the bottom of your pot, not the little bubbles from the eggs)
When you see these tiny bubbles, indicating the water is just beginning to boil start coming up, set your timer for 15 minutes. (16 minutes for Xtra large eggs)
As soon as the timer goes off, remove your pot from heat, dump the hot water and add cold water to the pot. You have to repeat this step a few times until the water stays cool and doesn't reheat because of the warmth of the eggs.
Peel and Enjoy!!
Tell me how it goes for you! (Or how you get your perfect eggs!!)

Eyes on the Prize

So, this weekend, we took the munchies to an egg hunt at the park. It was sponsored by our church, and there was a HUGE crowd. I'm thinking wayyy bigger than they expected. The hunt was separated into age groups, which I thought was really nice. My kiddos fit right into the 1-3 yr old field.  Daddy had the kids right at the edge of the ribbon, and there were lots and lots of eggs to grab. Little did we know our munchies had other intentions. Like, grabbing that one egg each...
I don't think I have laughed so hard in a very long time. My babies made out with a total of three eggs. Mancub brought one egg home and little lady brought two...a pink egg, and a purple one too. :)

Me? A Scrapbooker?

So, when I had my daughter, it must have flipped the girly, craft switch in me. I became a crocheting fool, a clippie makin momma, and well, a hoarder of all things memory related to my daughter. Well, in a box.  My friend then began selling Creative Memories Scrap booking supplies, and I was hooked!

I literally have the debate in my mind when the kids are napping..."Should I crochet, or scrap?"

I love my corner rounder...I think it is my favorite purchase...and my tape runner. YAY!!

This is my newest purchase. It is a sleeve that holds everything I need inside of it.. my journaling boxes, pages, and stickers as well as scraps. LOVE IT!!
Any way, I think that if you  have a big box of pics and memories, scrapbooking can be a fun way to organize it, and make a beautiful book for you or someone you love.

Where's your favorite place to pick up scrapbooking supplies? Do you like to crop alone or with friends/family?
